“SHADOW” exhibited hand-woven artworks by Li Peiying, open at Septième from December 1st to10th, 2023. 17 pieces, including both the artist’s early white series and the latest black creations, were on display. Li Peiying primarily uses natural hand-woven fabric as her medium, combining its crude texture and structure with acrylic, creating visual transformation and fusion with tranquil and understated elegance. As a spatial designer, Li Peiying’s love for natural fabrics infuses her creations with both rationality and limitless irrationality, drawing inspiration from natural materials and integrating real-life emotions into her works. The duality of life and creation nurtures each other, ultimately presenting the unique style of her works.
