Septième collaborated with dontouch to host the exhibition “dontouch100” from March 9th to 24th, 2024, as the occasion to release dontouch’s third-anniversary commemorative art book. “0-100” represents a collection of disorderly memories, with “100” symbolizing a selection of 100 irreplaceable object collections curated from the eight issues since its establishment. These objects of different ages, origins and styles interrelated in a personal manner, establishing connections with people as if they were a form of “life materialized”, the notion of which visualizes objects for a modern world as a kind of quasi-biological fauna, consciously distancing itself from scientific reality and academic ideals to become the embodiment of a trend of “intuition and emotion rather than rationality” resulting from its reverence for mystery, spontaneity, and irrationality.

 

 Septieme与dontouch合作展览 “dontouch100” 于2024年3月9日至3月24日在SEPTIÈME空间举办。此次同步发售dontou创立三周年纪念画册。0-100 是一个由无序组成的回忆，“100” 代表着自成立至今的 8 期 Issue 里甄选出的100 件不可取代的物件藏品，他们来自不同时期、产地，风格各异，以一种私密的方式联系起来，与人产生联系，如同一种“物态”的生命形式。这样的“物态”，让 objects for a modern world 可视化成为一种类生物群，却又有意识地远离科学现实和学术理想——因为它对神秘、自发和非理性的推崇，是一种“直觉和情感而非理智的潮流”。
