Septième, in collaboration with Object Momento the gallery, invited artist Simone Bodmer-Turner to exhibit her classic ceramic series - “The Permanent Collection” from November 18th to December 4th, 2022. Simone’s ceramic works embody rich fluidity, suggesting the ephemeral nature of things, fostering continuous interaction and communication between people and spaces. This exhibition showcased 11 pieces from this series, which, by conceptualizing “permanence”, inspired us to embrace changes as a constant, providing a moment of solace for our flickering lives.

Simone Bodmer-Turner is based in Brooklyn, New York. She works across ceramic, plaster, and found materials and creates both freestanding design objects and vases, sculpture, an array of lighting and furniture pieces, and site-specific installations.
